We have a long history in using only Organic, ethically sourced coffees from certified coffee co-ops. Ethical Coffee co-ops put farmers first. The collective efforts of an entire region are pooled together to create economic stability for coffee growers in even the smallest villages where some of the best coffee in the world in grown and processed.

Abakundakawa Hinga Kawa FTO is a highly acclaimed, Fairtrade and Organic certified, 100% Red Bourbon Arabica coffee produced by the Abakundakawa Rushashi Cooperative in northern Rwanda. "Hinga Kawa" translates to "Let's grow coffee" and represents a powerful movement of women peace-builders in Rwanda

Peru Canchaque
Founded in 1969, Cooperativa Agraria Cafetalera Jose Gabriel Condorcanqui is one of the oldest cooperatives in the Canchaque region of northern Piura, Peru. It is named after an indigenous hero, who in 1780, led a rebellion to improve the rights of indigenous Peruvians suffering under the Spanish Bourbon Reforms. Coop Condorcanqui is a member of Cooperativa Norandino. For the past several years, Cooperative Coffees has been working with Norandino to revive the traditional natural process coffees of the Canchaque region.

Congo Muungano
The Muungano Coffee Cooperative is an award-winning, Fairtrade, and organic-certified Arabica coffee cooperative in the South Kivu province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Founded in 2009, its name translates to "togetherness" in Swahili, reflecting its mission to unite farmers from diverse, conflict-affected communities
Before sunny Brae there was Café Clémentine where were learned what our people wanted in great coffee. This is truly the birthplace of Sunny Brae Coffees and still our flagship location, located in the Beautiful sunny Brae Burrough of Moncton, New Brunswick
